We love outdoor adventures at Yeo Vale Forest School, and we know that little people love them too.
Join us at our fabulous site, Tumbling Weir, Wrington, for an exciting mix of activities, including sensory play, woodland craft, mud kitchen, treasure hunts, use of tools and more.
Our most popular activity by far is cooking on the open fire. We cook together every week. This, for us, is the icing on the cake, and it brings a real sense of community and friendship.
Our sessions run on Mondays and Fridays 10am - 12pm in term time.
Each session includes:
- Routine activities to establish a sense of belonging and familiarity
- Themed craft to promote fine motor skills and creativity
- Free play on outdoor equipment for those gross motor skills and imagination
- Exploring nature across the seasons and in all weathers to build resilience and self-confidence
The cost is £7 per session; termly bookings are preferred. Sessions are suitable for children up to 6 years old. Ticket price includes 1 adult and 1 child and must be booked in advance. Please email us to book a place.
